Jennifer, HAPPY GUTS’ CO.
Jennifer is the founder of The Happy Guts’ Company. Raw fermented beverages and foods have been a quintessential part of her upbringing. Craving kimchi and kombucha in Luxembourg but unable to find quality products, Jennifer started making her own.
With the well-being of her family and serving the community in mind, and after almost 13 years in the finance and banking sector, Jennifer started The Happy Guts’ Company. She dedicates herself entirely to producing the best probiotic food and drinks.
Pit, Thalus Water
Thalus is a local start-up, based in Luxembourg, that specializes in spring water.
We know pollutant-free water is important for health, and we also know that plastic stinks and so does carbon pollution. That’s why we package our natural spring water in Tetra Pak, and we source it from a nearby family-run business that only uses green electricity.
Company founder Pit Romersa* came up with the name after reading about Thales of Miletus, an ancient Greek guy who, as both a scientist and a philosopher, understood the essential divinity of water. So Pit thought, cool, I like it.
Marianne, NUX
My name is Marianne and I’m the founder of Nux. My company was born after I moved to Luxembourg and focused on a healthier life. When I realized that nut butters were so nutritious and tasty, I started making all sorts at home. Each time, I created a new yummy flavor with wholesome ingredients. From its start in 2015, Nux has had amazing local support and sold thousands of jars. As Nux keeps on growing, my goal remains the same: to share the love for wholesome foods, as I do with family and friends.
Family Schramer, Mondo Del Caffe
The best green coffees, the best roasted coffees, fair trade, transparency and sustainability. These are the guiding principles that Mondo del Caffè has followed since 1997. We buy our green coffee for the most part directly from the source, according to our quality criteria, transparently and pay a really fair price for it.
We then roast these coffees traditionally using the drum roasting process under constant control - to the point where they are perfect. This creates a unique quality product. Mondo del Caffè, because life is too short to drink bad coffee!
